The balblair 1995 is another excellent offering from this ever popular distillery. It has been bottled at 46% and is non chill filtered.

Nose.. As usual with these balblairs this offering has a lovely fresh and fruity nose, lots of citrus scents, vanillas, toffee and coconut, lovely.

Palate.. Full on citrus flavours, apples and oranges, lots of toffee and vanilla, a little oak pops up in the background.

Finish.. After the lovely nose and palate I was a little disappointed with the finish, it just lacked a little something, maybe I just wanted to drink more who knows..

Thoughts.. This is a lovely drinking whisky, it offers lots of complex flavours to play with, although I found the finish a little weaker than I expected I will not hesitate to buy another bottle.
