My thoughts..

Nose.. Soft fresh fruits wrapped in a coat of white chocolate, rich honey, cinnamon, digestive biscuits and butterscotch.. Subtle citrus notes tease while soft oak and hints of exotic fruit just pop in to say hello.

Palate.. Its a spice bomb.. wonderful spices balanced out with a sweetness from fresh fruits and natural sugars, soft oak and vanilla, toffee and a little caramel give this lots of complex notes with plenty of depth..

Finish.. Long, sweet and spicy.

Thought..  The evening was a great success with everyone really appreciating this malt, we were told that James always appreciates a good bourbon cask and I think he has really produced something worth shouting about with this particular expression.. The whisky was lovely and fresh and delivered a multitude of aromas and flavours.. One to watch out for !!
