Nose.. Elegance is an understatement here.. Victoria plums, toffee and dates escort you into a state of ecstasy before summer fruits and chocolate covered donuts dunked in coffee and a packet of ginger nut biscuits brings a rewarding smile.

Palate.. The honey notes found gives a delicious sweetness that leads into a contradicting bitterness from coffee bean and citrus peels. Those Victoria plums draw you in and demand some attention that only subsides when the elegance of Bitter chocolate and a handful of dates that have shown you the inner secrets of this beauty..

Finish.. Long with warming spices

Thoughts.. This is one of those drams that just leave you salivating and wanting just a little more.. There is just something rather soothing and welcoming to this dram, its like coming home but to a home that isn’t yours, but its still so familiar. The warmth is down to those ginger notes and that feeling of being left alone to explore this whisky is exactly how it should be..

Once you strip this whisky down to its bare bones and taste it blind as it gives itself to you, those closely guarded secrets just come flooding down upon you and you then know the pleasure is all at your fingertips..
